Western Iowa
Well I can give you a little report off some chopping I helped with yesterday

One field 219. Flat, black and about as good as it gets. APH to APH +5%. Next field a rolling hill farm, 151. Very typical ground for my area. About 15% under APH and it is important to note both fields had nitrogen this spring compared to last fall which is more common here. Fall nitrogen ran out of gas in mid-late july. Scary part is usually the RCIS adjusters when adjusting silage I think are a bit generous on yield. When doing partial farms I have NEVER seen the combined portion out yield the chopped portion.

Crop ground which is both north of I80 and west of I35 is not a homerun like north MO and central IL. IMO

Bring on those early homerun yield reports, its going to average out.
