Now we are expecting a cut in harvested acres per the FSA acreage update of about.. per Jamie's work from below..

Soybeans in September 2013    (74.7  ) could have had an implied final planting number of 76.3 (74.7/.996/.983). The final 2013 USDA soybean planted acreage was 76.5 for a deviation of 99.7% (76.3/76.5) last year. Take the implied 2014 soybean number of 82.5/.997 = 82.8 million acres for 2014. 82.8 planted acres * .99 = 81.96 harvested acres * 46.6 yield = 3,819 million bushels vs 3,913 million bushels currently projected by the USDA.

Let's up the yield on that a little to.. heck 82 x 47 = 3,854.. close enough.  Now we ALSO get a Stocks report update next TUESDAY.. Anyone STILL believe that we had 130 myn carry in..?

I don't.. let's take that down to 110.. furthermore are we going to import much at $9.00?  Nope.. take that to 5.. Heck I'll just put it in the table..

I don't see HOW the bears are going to be able to keep prices DOWN this low...  Heck.. just bin it and WAIT for the Dead Cat bounce.  That could be pretty good this year.  We have RECORD Export bookings RECORD Livestock margins.. RECORD demand for meal..  2 weeks ago the WHOLE COUNTRY WAS OUT of beans.. so far we harvested.. 3% of the crop.. or 115 myn bushels.. so sum total there's.. 225 myn bushels in store as of Sunday.. Harvest is increasing but we would/will use 3643/52 = 70'ish per week when the beanies become available..  That would be 210 myn right there if we had them.. of demand Since Sept 1st.. IF we HAD the beans..  Even with some guys dumping.. when we get to the STRONG HANDS it's gonna be a battle.. Why WAIT?!?

So RIGHT NOW.. the PIPELINE IS EMPTY.. and it NEED's to BUY.. 70 myn per week.. or more.. here in a few weeks LAST year we EXPORTED 70 myn bushels..in a SINGLE WEEK.. plus the grind.

If ya'll will just dig in a little we can run these bears out of the woods where we can SHOOT 'EM.

There's gonna be a bounce.. and this year it could be a big one..

btw.. we're at 7% harvested on the corn.. here's the updated corn burn rate table..
