We are NATO. We use it for political cover. We will respond if Russia interferes in the Middle East. we will respond and get bogged down fighting Russian backed and Iranian backed insurgents. We will receive no help from the rest of NATO because they depend in Russia for gas. I have a friend leaving in 2 weeks going back on his 3rd tour in Afghanistan we are stretched thin. We would be fighting on 3 fronts one not any more vital than the other. Focus on one front and lose ground on the other 2. |
