Subject: The Canola Council

NW Washington
Here is the word from the Canola Council in Canada where most of the "canola" is grown. They recommend from 4 to 8 pounds/acre (4.5 to 9 kg/ha) depending on conditions.
I have only heard of growing canola in really wide rows from one of your countryman who spoke at a no-till conference. I reckon that most of the canola in North Amerca is seeded with either a drill or air seeder in rows from 7 to 12 inches apart.
