Western illinois | I was in that area a month ago or so. It appeared that there were several areas of drowned out crops. There was some uneven emergence in this area due to the cold spring temperatures. It's not hard to find the late emergers in the field now. We have a good crop, but some fields lost some potential, for sure. Other areas are having the crop of a lifetime. I just wish the moisture would come down so I could start. | |
