I could of been given 280  UNcoop shares today from a couple fellows that want out of beets.  But I told them NO, I was not interested in being "OWNED" again at this time.

From where I sit at this time of my life, I do not want to own shares that might cost my heir's my estate. I've seen this coop change the bylaws to "high grade"  from my neighbors & I. They threatened to sue those that didn't have enough to afford a defense, but didn't bother the 2 that could afford to put up a defense.   I'd like to raise beets, but don't have enough "faith" to put my farm "on the line" when the coop board can change the bylaws to their benefit.
