WC MN | I agree Dano. Our best corn has been in years like 2010 and 2012 when we had above average temperatures coupled with timely rains. 2004 and 2009 we had cool cloudy summers with plenty of rain. Corn ended up light with fairly poor yields and terrible quality. Beans seem to be the same way.
With that being said, a cool summer in the upper midwest is a very different thing than a cool summer in central Illinois. | |
