Houston,Tx | Corn - the strong handed spec funds began covering BEFORE the Jan report - "they" were over 100k short before then and have gradually evened out since then...so, since then - i name it a settling down period.
don't really follow wheat positions
based simply on CFTC, IMO - soy funds net short (-85k)....Historically, they are rarely net short - comparatively, this market - yes - is screaming - compared to corn - just humming along, if you will.
SO, between C/B all i can say is soy in a more "extreme" or stressed/volatile state - like a rubber band stretched...and corn in a more relatively stable "state"
hope this literary and scientific lingo makes any sense.
