S Illinois | The OP could be completely correct. I am not close enough to know for sure in that area. In our area in the last two years 175APH ground has gone anywhere from 6k to 12k all depending on who was at the auction and what operations were looking for ground. However if the next sale would bring 8k, I wouldn't necessarily say that land has gone down yet. Land sales are just so local that unless there are more than a handful of sales in a given area, it is tough to establish the true base price. | |
