no welfare payments on this farm!!!!!!!! | A long time 73 yr old friend of mine has never traveled much. He told me last night that he isnt young anymore and wanted to travel and see some of the best sale barns in the usa. he has no interest in seeing national parks or anything like that, he is a life long cattleman and wants to make a 2 or 3 week round trip catching and seeing the salebarn/auction barns of cattle country in the midwest. He has a few that he wants to see but asked me what the best ones are and when their sale is. Before answering I thought of ag talk and thought I would ask. Could posters please tell me their favorite weekly auction, how big it is on average and what day of the week it is? Thanks in advance, ALso if the salebarn is hard to get around with big steps or anything you wouldnt let your dad go to please say. Jim can get around but something like a big 18 inch step or steep stairs can really slow him down. |
