Subject: high prices are not always perfect

whitesville new york
I got a letter with the milk check saying starting with September milk the coop is going to keep $.15 per hundred to make up for milk that has been sold for up to $5 less than class price. According to the letter they said they have been trying not to do this, and have caused the coop checking account to move into the red. The reason they gave for selling milk for up to $5 under class price is that the processors are only paying class price for the milk they need and less for milk past their needs.

We normally get a $.20+ bonus in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarters
