EC Nebraska
I talked to the county director at the FSA, he said there are 20 from numbers out of over 1800 that have not certified. That is a very small percentage of the total farms that would account for some discrepancy in acres. However it does seem that Jons numbers have alot of basis and fact and indeed the USDA is high on acres that would have a significant impact on final total production. It appears some of the bears dont want to believe this because it caused them doubt that corn and beans could actually go to some of their professed lower levels. Jons price range fot dec15 fits well what the bigshot from Cargill said at the propricing meetings held the end of August. Their range for Dec 15: 4.75 to 5.00 by next spring. Interesting!
