Subject: RE: Anyone build a silage pusher blade?

Athens, Ga
Yeah, I bought an old 8ft John Deere blade from a deere dealer off ebay for $400. Then I designed my own extensions and head board to bring it out to 12ft wide and about maybe 60" tall.. I also had to design my own mounts for the blade to the 7830. I didnt really like the way I did the mounting, but it worked. I really would like to make a quick attach like Degelman currently has but we shall see. I might have $2500 in the whole project as I used alot of scrap metal from work and excludeing my time. To me, when I get to work on my own projects like this, it is relaxing so I consider it like time off..
