I had an 05 Impala and loved it. I usually could get around 32 mpg on highway trips. I got sideswiped by a semi in Lousville 2 years ago and totaled it. I now have an 07 VW Passat 2.0T and love it as well. The Passat is a lot snappier and has more power. Overall I like it better than the Impala except it rides rougher. I can get 34 mpg on trips with it.
