Not for this guy....this year is a cakewalk compared to 2013....last year we had endless rain including two six inch events two weeks apart...finished mudding in the planting around july 4 only to end up going 70 to 77 days (depending on the farm) without any measurable rain. Then the late planted beans wouldn't dry, so we had to bin dry them. Then we harvested our worst crop overall since I started farming(and it was wet), before harvesting our biggest crop insurance check ever.


This year we looked really good til early august....since then we've had 15+ inches of rain, cold weather, lots of plant disease, an 80 mph windstorm....and I still love it over last year.
