Subject: RE: McCormick CX105

Nova Scotia
CX105 is a newer CX100, which was built in both CaseIH and McCormick trim.

The CX was the last of the Doncaster IH's, shared engine with C, but was platform version and could have factory cab. Descendant of the 74 series IH.

The C-series (Not CX) was the back half of a 85/95/4200 series with a perkins engine. The CX was the same perkins engine with the "new" back end platform and syncro shuttle based trans.

105 could have the "X-tra Shift" trans which was a 24 speed with power shuttle and 3-speeed power shift, where CX100 only had 16 speed with synchro shuttle and 2 speed power shift.
