North of London | Like you and kansas I started on a JD 'B', hand clutch.
Unlike many on here i have no idea how old I was or what I did the first time I was allowed to drive.
Remember disking a field when I was not very old because I caught a fence post with the back disk gang and broke the cast spacer and bent the axle, oops.
Probably not the first time I drove.
I do remember the first time I drove horses and i was probably around 6-8.
Standing on the ladder rack while father and an uncle loaded grain sheaves.
Stop and start but the horses probably would have done most of it by voice commands I did get to steer them close or not so close to the rows of stooks.
