Subject: RE: Good Truck or Not - 2000 International 9200i ??

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I bought a 2002 9200i that had been owned by Wal-Mart. I bought it from a truck jockey. It has a Detroit 60 series engine, day cab and over 950,000 miles. The jockey had connections with his BIL who stretched it, installed an air tag axle, painted it and put a grain box on it. I've had it for several years and have been happy with it. This is for farm use only.

The clutch/transmission brake was out so I had my mechanic replace the clutch itself as well as the transmission brake due to the miles. This was done this summer. I've had a few minor problems with air leaks and other routine items but nothing serious.

It seems that parts (oil filters etc.) are fairly reasonable when compared to what I normally pay for similar farm machinery parts.
