.4567x35500/56# = roughly 289bu/ac figure some loss in stand etc in places, 275+ likely in this field from what I've seen

Figure 65 pods harvested per plant, 5% loss between stand loss/ head shatter etc
65x154800= 10,062,000 pods/acre x 2.5 beans per pod = 25,155,000 beans/ac
25,155,000 / 3250 (beans/lb) = 7740#/AC divided by 60 equals 129bu/AC
With 5% loss comes out to roughly 120bu
Seems crazy to think about 100 bu beans as an average, worst plant was 46 pods
Running same calculation gives you an 87bu number at the low end of pod count.
Was told of a field around Lafayette, IN that went 84bu, maybe it's possible.
Beans look phenomenal but I never dreamed math would come out like that, won't all be that good, later beans have heavy SDS infestation
