I don't think I've ever went as far as saying ISU sucks and their wins over Iowa have rarely/never been solely luck.
ISU shows up for these games and often gives one of their best efforts of the year. ISU has been beating better talent with more effort and better coaching and to be honest it's painful to watch as a Hawk fan.
Last week until the last few minutes of the game it looked like Ball St was going to beat Iowa with the same recipe. The previous week it was UNI. As you can see it's becoming a pattern and it was only a matter of time until it resulted in a Loss.
We do have a rather serious problem and its not recruiting adequate talent. ↓
If ISU can get the talent on offense you've got a coach that can do some damage on that side of the ball. I'd trade Davis for Mangino straight up if you want. Heck most Hawk fans would be happy to get KOK back.
