Subject: RE: Not much wheat to backhaul

There's not much wheat moving right now..

One elevator only took in 25% of last year's take..  But there's some.. right now if you OWN bushels.. then you have options.  I tried to buy some corn last week.. and the guy didn't have any ownership.. that's the tough part right now.

It will change for them.. bushels will move.. but with harvest transportation will be tight.. transport will get sucked up just coming out of the fields.  So it's still a big puzzle.. It will take all winter to get sorted out imho.. by then we'll be looking at a planting rally.

"or something"

Honestly I don't care..  prices suck.. time to work on something else.. get the crops out.. the wheat in and move on.. maybe by then the markets will get straightened out.

All I know is that I'm NOT selling at these prices.

So are wheat prices good enough to plant then? Sure hope they improve here for a planting carrot.
