Subject: RE: For you hunters... pics

Coochief, as of last night he still had not killed an elk. Took a fifty yard shot at a 330, one little branch in the way and guess what happened. Seeing lots of elk. His outfitter/guide, Eddie Ortega, is taking them 2 hours drive from base camp every day to area his other hunters wouldn't be able to handle, because most guys just are not in shape to go all day in the rugged terrain. They get back to camp at 10:30 every night, and up again at 3:30 for breakfast, then back in the truck heading back to this very secluded, rugged area. He has not seen another hunter all week. Seeing lots of elk, and passed on dozens. Today is his last day. He will not shoot one unless it meets his criteria of a trophy. He's probably gonna end up with a very expensive camping trip, and eating tag sandwich. But that's how it goes when you set the bar very high for yourself. He had a nice cinnamon bear come to 20 yards from behind him couple nights ago. Said he was huffing and snapping at him, just inside the brush line. He has a bear tag, but just two much brush in the way. He has sent me some pretty awesome video, and pictures. Hopefully he will post some this week when he gets back. Those sure are beautiful pictures you posted.
