WY, OK

3w farms - 9/14/2014 12:24 Since honey bees are not native to North America. What pollinated plants in North America before 1622, which is when honey bees were first brought here, Once again this is the doom and gloom thing. There are estimated to be 4000 species of North American native bees, and yet we only hear about the honey bees which are not native. Could hive collapse just be nature correcting another error made by man who thinks it can control the world around him.

Exactly, amazing how people get worked up over something that isn't native.  More fun to put on a tin foil hat and start making up conspiracies though.  Last credible thing I heard was some kind of little bug that is infesting the honey bee is why they are dying.

Maybe I can import a bunch of Penguins then get a bunch of money studying why they can't survive because it is too hot most of the year.
