Vailcat,
Glad to hear you missed the frost this morning! We have 39 and light drizzle here. We are supposed to have 35 and light patchy frost tomorrow morning. We shall see. Since we have had about an inch of rain in the last 4 days it is hard to see how there could be much damage could be done. Our beans are 2.4s and so are quite a ways along. The corn should be able to take a light frost with very little damage. Given the report yesterday it will be very interesting on Monday. I wonder if the traders will reassess the damage and come back in a selling mode? If they do beans could be in for a cliff diving episode. I thought they were reluctant to push the issue yesterday and doubt they will sell too hard today with the frosty possibilities still out there for tomorrow. But, if there is little to no damage over the weekend then the bearish report will take over as the driving influence... into the ditch... Thanks and good luck.
