Subject: RE: Oliver 2255

my brother was a failure analysis technition with cat for many years and had a long history with the 3208--mostly in medium duty truck engines--he found that new bearings every 100k miles greatly extended the useful life of the engines.also if someone wants to play with extra power they were available at 250-300 allthe way to 435 with the ringhaver marine cylinder heads--definitely horsepower you wouldn't put to heavy load in the field.anything 250 up was turboed.
