Let's see. TIAA-CREF has plans to buy $1 billion dollars of US farmland. They manage $700 billion in total funds. Yeah, they are going to bail on 1.5 percent of their assets because it gets a little tough (sarcasm). I bet that if land prices retreat they may double down.
