I think it will happen but I would say 3 years of depressed grain prices and cattle will have to stay up. Or, the government will get back into renting land (CRP).
The word on the street( i know take it for what its worth) is that a couple guys were negotiating with land owners and owners ended up putting the farm in CRP for next year for something like 310 and acre. I questioned it because i thought there wasent a general signup but they claim there is. |
