Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | A few years ago it was hard to get $20 per bale for good round bale hay ($10 per bale was the normal price) and there were a lot more cattle then than today. Since then some of us have plowed enough hay ground so that those few who still make hay can at least get paid a decent price ($25-30/bale). As soon as any number of us plant hay the price will just collapse and nobody will make any money. |
