I am certainly not going to make any weather prediction for tonight but I do have a suggestion. If you believe that frost could do damage to the crops why not buy a percentage of your cash meal needs ahead. Maybe a 25% purchase of next years usage. That way at least you are partially covered. The other thought might be to buy a call against the meal market. I do not know what it would cost but it may give you peace of mind... Or you could do a combination of the two.
