You cannot forward contract your price later for some reason that I don't know why. Coops take your bushels but the only way to sell it is on a cash basis only. Same as hauling in on open store and not letting you forward contract your open storage, don't make sense to me.
I really don't like price later contracts anyways, it's only a way for the user to get free bushels and the farmer to take a price that they don't have to pay up to get. | |
