So do we lose another 5 myn corn acres next year?

Chip Flory was interviewing an FC Stone(d) guy yesterday who said..  

"Well if guys do not plant corn then they HAVE to plant soybeans.."

to which my response is .. NO WE DO NOT!!  and at $9.70.. I may not plant ANY beans next year...

In 2012.. we turned 1700+ acres of double crop around.. I'm still planning on doing a circle to stubble back this fall.. but that might be it.  We may just do 0 double crop acres next year.. especially if there's no margin.

I don't HAVE to plant either Corn OR Soybeans.. we can cut both to the bone..

btw.. IF we do 1,850 again on exports..  6,650 on Food, Alcohol and Industrial, The Feedlots by me are FULL.. chewing through capacity on corn flakes.. 5,350 and 24 on seed... that's 13,874 of Corn usage..

We do a 14,100 crop and your only adding 226 to carry out...  which I think 13/14 is going to be reduced another 110'ish myn.. so your only looking at a 1,300'ish carry out number for 14/15..
