Acres of grazable land will likely be the limiting factor as they allowed us 1.2 ac's per cow of managed pasture and 1.5 ac's per cow of unimproved pasture/woods here (had more cattle than that). Pays very well - beef cows/bulls were getting $150/hd, dairy cows/bulls were getting $390, and 500 lbs or larger calves were getting $110 here anyway. | |
