Subject: Sorghum is looking decent.

The Sorghum for the 2nd year running is looking pretty decent.. coin toss on which will yield more this year.. Last year the late season rains aided the sorghum about 30 to 50 bu better or thereabout's.. pretty significant.

Sorghum does not really have the top end as corn does.. you can't really turn it back around to wheat ("Stubble back") like you can with the corn.  So it will pretty much force a fallow period "here."

However, it looks pretty decent from what some are doing.. a Wht, Wht, Sorghum, Fallow rotation or something like that.. W W W S F..  W S Soybeans.. etc.

Anywho.. more Sorghum is probably going to mean more Fallow.. and given the moisture situation.. that may not be all bad.

We don't have the Sorghum in though.. a wet fall/winter could change some attitudes towards it..  ??
