| +1 I used to buy every cheap wagon I could find so that I had enough storage on wheels to combine beans all day long, then I could unload when the dew set in and it was too tough to keep combining or if my brother had a little time to come and help me for a few hours he could unload a few. Then if we had a rain day, I could haul some loads to town. When it came to combining corn, I would park the wagons in the middle of the field instead of on the ends because I could not make a full round (I was by myself, so it was less walking to just have one tractor and set of wagons in the field). Sure, it took longer and I worked all night some nights, but I got it done. | |
