sullivan il. | An amishman next door to one of the farms I have steers at double cropped corn after his wheat this year, his wheat was ready about 10 days ahead of most because I baled the straw off of it about 10 days before I baled any others he planted the corn that night with the idea of chopping it for silage looked at it today it has pollinated ears are filling out clear to the end although they are smaller ears 14x28-32. He said he might just combine it instead of chop it if the frost stays away its only 40 acres but I never would have imagined you could do that most years beans don't do very good | |
