It must be very scenic and nice to live there. Up here you can see for miles. We are lucky to live on a small river. A two foot slope in a half mile is considered awesome for drainage.


Each area has its own challenges and good points as well. This pic is from a few years ago on the back side of my round top. The picture doesn't do the grade any justice. This would be considered a larger farm in my area. 85 tillable but to avoid losing crop land to terraces it must be stripped to the contour of the hill. Biggest field is 8.8 acres where it flattens out behind me.
