| I for one am not buying on the frost scare, I am buying because of price alone. in 2012 I bought corn at 5.50 and a week later had a 50 cent loss booked my cash through the summer by middle of july had a 2 dollar profit, interest rates basically free for cash in deposit, I can get the carry by owning the cash I dont think I will be the only one filling his bins to the nuts in the next month or so Its called a texas hedge long the board and the cash I am 90 percent hedged on hogs at decent levels just wish I had more storage. | |
