I planted 300 acres of corn in 3 days with a $25,000 4640 and a 12-row $10,000 planter. Didn't have any breakdowns, planted another 500 acres of beans with no real issues either. $43 an acre-of should mention I have done that for last 2 years-so make that $21.50 an acre...and she is ready to roll for next year. (should mention am no-till)
Still leaves a whole lot left over for harvesting and spraying equipment.
