East central South Dakota | It's not a big area but ill dang sure bet it's not the only area but frost/freeze won't too us out at 30bpa - rains altogether STOPPING for close to 2 months have topped us out at hopefully 30 bpa. 2nd verse same as the first (last year) and 30 caught dang near everybody in a decent radius (here).
I'm not killing the crop cause it's very encouraging 3" of late rain later but I know we're not the only ones who didn't catch the summer rains. Throw some frost/freeze (however slight) in the mix somewhere and the 47bpa average doesn't work.
It'll take some time for the trade to figure out -or maybe I eat my boot and we make it. I've thought a few things this summer that the trade might coulda thought and turned out I was wrong then too. |
