I would think to do 1000 acres you need a grain cart and someone to haul it to the grain site or local elevator......
I would say a grain cart is one of the first ways to cut equipment and labor costs. 1 less piece of equipment, one less tractor, and one less man.
I know everyone is going to disagree with that. But my uncle runs 2200 acres with 3 semi's one guy in the combine and 2 in the trucks. Never had a cart. Gets done just as soon if not sooner than everyone else.
