Subject: Freeze/frost - masking real issue?

Houston,Tx
Aren't many of the crops in northern growing areas 2-3 weeks (or more) behind developmentally?

A cool/cold air mass is coming this week (lows & high temps) to park in southern MN/nothern IA vicinity for several days & no forecast for much warmth - later on....whether a frost/freeze event occurs is relatively academic (meaning-less), at this juncture.

Plant respiration will slow way down by Tues night - cease at times - for days. No real warm up in the next 2 weeks.

How does anyone foresee these crops having a chance to finish with a full tank (so to speak)?

If anyone believes "the trade" is hanging on a particular event which may or not - happen----think again and watch the trade...Max production has come and gone in the trade in case y'all missed it.

thanks -JMHWEPO
