Are you using current 2015 Dec corn prices on your decisions or are you factoring a potential dollar loss to that value? If you are factoring a potential loss in futures value i think it would be much more fair and realistic to hedge your corn and leave the landlord alone. $4 futures aren't that bad if you can store and capture carry and basis improvement
