Yes.

But I now only plant a garden. I can finance with beer bottle returns. LOL

It would be interesting if farmers age would have been added to this poll. Timing is everything. If you started farming in 1972 and caught a few strong years right out of the gate life is good, especially if you are now close to retirement, and have had these last few years to settle any dept.
I started in 79, had a flood first year, could see 3 acres sticking out of 200 late in may. Year two 1980 had one of our worst droughts. Two years in and 20,000 in hawk, but made it through.

Have a safe, great harvest.
