Well a farmer feeder can run with no protection a little easier because if market tanks his next group of feeders should be cheaper to fill up and roll on. Its a rolling hedge....VIA beefbiz ( thanks again beefbiz).
Still think getting some puts under this thing is a good play. Demand can get hurt in a hurry from outside events.
