There's plenty of time to hit a <$3 low, and then rally back to $4 by February. 

So NE Ridger.. your saying "operation BIN IT" might make some sense...???  hmmm.
 
We do not know how much acres will be reduced.. or what the yields will be.. heck we don't even really KNOW what the acres are THIS YEAR.. and INFORMA makes a decent case that if the reduction is big enough..??  We might not even have a 14 byn bu crop THIS year..???

 




All I'm saying is that the acreage/price chart doesn't care about the harvest low.   All that matters for that chart is the February price (if I understand it correctly).  Corn prices between now and Jan. 1 are mostly irrelevant for 2015 planted acres.   All that matters is the price producers expect when they make their planting decisions.
