| no one is saying numbers are going to increase immediately but meat supply is going to increase immediately because us livestock producers can do the math cost per pound gain ,hog numbers are down but pork production is close to last year because of heavier weights, your point re feeder cattle, as a percent of grain consumption is very low and with numbers being down but taking fats 20 to 30 percent more uses way more grain than normal all this talk is friendly to feed grains, we are agreeing I do not think the numbers will increase fast in cattle with retention of heifers further reducing the supply of meat but we are at records prices so most of this is in the market already | |
