The tracks on the four tires does the best job of floating on mud.  It does not push it out to the side as much as a plain rubber tire would.  I am leery on the maintenance issue on them compared to the 4 wheel drive one.  I like just plain tires.  That is where the V-3 drive is nice.  Not a lot more money for 50% more traction/flotation.  The  wheel drive one with tracks would be the best but way too much money for that type of setup.  The oscillation is good for climbing terraces if you have them.  Been a fun experience this summer trying them out.  I had some units going through sloughs where the motor almost went under water.
