SC Iowa | December 2015 corn futures closed at 4.00 last night
cash corn for harvest at our place for Oct 15 is 3.75
market will have a carry structure all the way through calendar year 2015 and beyond with 14+ crop size
long way to go to get to low $3 cash bids for 2015 (yes, I know there are exceptions)
folks believing the heart of the midwest will see unplanted ground need to wake up from the dream they are in
now, I am sure someone will find a few farms someplace and say "I told you so",,,
IF you are truly worried about $3 corn being reality in 2015 instead of just stirring the pot, then tell me why you don't have it sold or hedged??
