I was going to say what about trading for a newer 1083 with poly, or buying a 1083, trading snouts and selling it again if yours was in better overall condition. I think it was bigswede (Matt S.) had some pictures of his 1083 that was factory poly that looked like very nice head. Cliff and Clay project is top notch, they always are.
