| I went there and saw it. I strongly do believe it's not a Kuhn. I asked that question and they told me they bought the rights to the Kuhn. Found out it wasn't working for what they wanted and redesigned a lot of it. I was told its Deeres design. The knotters and blower looked very American. Baler looks well built. I don't remember how much twine it holds but I think it was 34 balls. The applicator they will use is going to be a harvestec. The axles are a spring ride suspension and is hyd controlled. It's controlled through a display, 1800, 2600 or 2630, doesn't matter. They said in testing the knotters out preformed other knotters on the market for missed ties. Something like once every 250 bales it missed. They had charts showing its bale weight consistency, however I never saw the field they baled in nor did i think to ask if it was a straight flat irrigated field that had consistent windrows. The pre cutter looked very well designed. It can get out of the way so it bales the same as one without a cutter if your not using it. The pick up did look very well built, I liked it
The doors open up so you can get to the sides and work on it. As far as the angle of the driveline I believe it was a CV at the fly wheel but please don't quote me on that. Seemed like a decent baler. I wasn't around for the 100s but have heard how wonderful they were. I think they will be a tough sell because of that. I have experience with another major brand on the market and won't say it's better but won't say it's worse because I'm in sales and it's all opinion. I like Deere equipment but try to not think they are the golden gift.
If you have more questions I'll try and answer them if you want. Like I said I try to remain very in biased and see a guys question before it's answered. Nothing's perfect, doesn't matter what brand it is.
